The short version: Simply Golf doesn't collect your personal information. Your games, scores and settings stay on your device. If you turn on Game Center, Apple handles your achievements and leaderboard scores.
Last updated 30 September 2026.
What stays on your device
Everything the game remembers is saved only on your phone or tablet:
- Games in progress, settings and custom rules
- Player nicknames, ball colours and handicaps
- Records, stats, daily challenge tries and achievement progress
We never receive this information. Deleting the app deletes it. If your device backs up apps to iCloud, the backup is handled by Apple under your iCloud settings.
Game Center
If you're signed in to Game Center, the game sends your unlocked achievements and your scores for leaderboards, such as the Daily Solo Challenge, to Apple. Apple shows them to you and to other players according to your Game Center settings. Apple's handling of that information is covered by Apple's privacy policy. You can play without Game Center, and you can turn it off at any time in your device's Settings.
What we don't do
- No accounts or sign-ups
- No analytics, tracking or advertising identifiers
- No ads
- No selling or sharing of personal information
The game only uses your clipboard when you tap a course seed to copy it.
If we ever add something that changes this, such as ads or in-app purchases, we'll update this policy and the App Store privacy details before that version is released.
Children
Simply Golf is fine for all ages. Because the game doesn't collect personal information from anyone, it doesn't collect any from children.

Changes
If this policy changes, the new version will be posted here with a new date.
